We appreciate your interest in our company and hope this site will provide you with additional information about the homes we build and the neighborhoods where we build them.

Our company was founded in Yorktown, Virginia in 1985 by Wayne Harbin and it now includes his two sons Doug and Brad.  HOME ENHANCEMENTS, the Remodel Division of Wayne Harbin Builder was formed in 2007 by Doug and Brad Harbin to expand the company to cover the needs for quality additions and renovations.

We have increased our solid reputation and the number of awards we have won for building quality into each of our homes and remodels. As the sole Southern Living® Custom Builder Program builder on the Peninsula, we have grown in our ability to produce classic Southern designs and contemporary living arrangements.

Across the Peninsula, Wayne Harbin Builder continues to build homes in a variety of price ranges and communities. We are a custom home builder and will build any plan on your lot or select one of ours.

Running Man and Woods of Tabb subdivisions are located in the highly popular Tabb area of York County.  Running Man and Woods of Tabb are both convenient to NASA, Langley Air Force Base, I-64, US 17 and the cities of Poquoson, Hampton, Newport News - in fact, anywhere in Hampton Roads. 

We continue to build homes in Williamsburg in the Wellington subdivision. Custom homes and wooded lots are available at the Monticello Woods neighborhood in Williamsburg. 

The Settlement at Powhatan Creek, a 55+ community in Williamsburg, offers the best lifestyle near the center of town -- maintenance is taken care of and the residents' club will be full of activity. Both single family and attached homes are available in this active adult community.

The Oaks at Fenton Mill is a new single family home community in Upper York County, located near the growing area of Rt.199 and Mooretown Road. It's a rural setting right near conveniences of all kinds. Conveniently located near interstate I-64 you can get to Richmond, Camp Peary, Historic Yorktown, Fort Eustis, Langley Air Force Base in a matter of minutes.

Wayne Harbin Builder has expanded its home building operations to Gloucester with the community of Robinson's Pond and Robinson's Springs, near the Courthouse and Ashe Farms, near Gloucester Point.
