Founded in Yorktown, Virginia in 1985 by Wayne Harbin, the company has grown in staff and homes built per year. We have also increased our solid reputation and the number of awards we have won for building quality into each of our homes. As the sole Southern LivingŪ Custom Builder Program builder on the Peninsula, we have grown in our ability to produce classic Southern designs and contemporary living arrangements.
Across the Peninsula, Wayne Harbin Builder continues to build homes in a variety of price ranges and communities. We continue to build semi-custom homes in Williamsburg in the Wellington subdivision. Custom homes and wooded lots are available at the Monticello Woods neighborhood in Williamsburg.
The Settlement at Powhatan Creek in Williamsburg offers the best lifestyle near the center of town -- maintenance is taken care of and the residents' club will be full of activity. Both single family and attached homes are available in this active adult community.
The Oaks at Fenton Mill is a new single family home community in Upper York County, located near the growing area of Rt.199 and Mooretown Road. It's a rural setting right near conveniences of all kinds.
The neighborhood feel of Port Warwick continues to bring awards and new neighbors to Newport News. Wayne Harbin Builder has expanded its building operations to Gloucester with the community of Robinson's Pond and Robinson's Springs, near the Courthouse and Ashe Farms, near Gloucester Point.
