Seaford Remodel
This home built in the 1960s has been renovated to suit the life of a modern family. New appliances, finishes and flooring make a big difference in the feel of this home. A large kitchen with island, new cabinets and tile backsplash make a beautiful island-inspired room. The Cohen residence renovation aimed to turn a 1965 rancher into a home for a modern family. The home was remodeled to include a screened porch facing the rear of the waterfront lot and a porch was added to the front. Interior walls were freshened up and the kitchen and baths were removed and redesigned for a more modern look and feel. This home in Seaford has the advantage of location, but needed work to make it work for a family with two children. The remodel included taking out old appliances, removing wallpaper and old trim. The homeowners are happy with their newly remodeled home – it uses space more efficiently and the interior is updated and fresh. This home's living space has also been increased with the addition of a screened porch in the rear, a must for life on the water.
